☕ Signature Recipes

1. The Classic Pour Over

Clean, bright, and full of nuance — the purist's choice.

You'll need:

  • 22g freshly ground Grind & Glow single-origin beans (medium-coarse grind)
  • 350ml filtered water at 93°C (200°F)
  • Pour over dripper + paper filter

Method:

  1. Rinse the filter with hot water and discard the rinse water.
  2. Add your ground coffee and create a small well in the center.
  3. Pour 50ml of water to bloom the grounds for 30 seconds.
  4. Slowly pour the remaining water in circular motions over 3–4 minutes.
  5. Enjoy black or with a splash of oat milk.

2. Grind & Glow Golden Latte

A warming, anti-inflammatory twist on your morning ritual.

You'll need:

  • 1 double shot of Grind & Glow espresso
  • 200ml steamed oat milk
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • Pinch of black pepper

Method:

  1. Pull your espresso shot into a mug.
  2. Whisk turmeric, cinnamon, and pepper into the steamed oat milk.
  3. Pour the spiced milk over the espresso.
  4. Sweeten with honey or maple syrup and stir gently.
  5. Dust with cinnamon to finish.

3. Cold Brew Concentrate

Smooth, bold, and endlessly versatile — make a batch and glow all week.

You'll need:

  • 100g coarsely ground Grind & Glow dark roast
  • 700ml cold filtered water
  • Mason jar or pitcher
  • Fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth

Method:

  1. Combine coffee and cold water in a jar. Stir to saturate all grounds.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for 18–24 hours.
  3. Strain through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean jar.
  4. Dilute 1:1 with water or milk to serve over ice.
  5. Store concentrate in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

4. The Glow Espresso Tonic

Bright, effervescent, and surprisingly refreshing — a café favorite.

You'll need:

  • 1 double shot of Grind & Glow espresso (chilled)
  • 150ml tonic water
  • Ice
  • Orange or lemon slice to garnish

Method:

  1. Fill a glass with ice and pour in the tonic water.
  2. Slowly pour the chilled espresso shot over the back of a spoon to layer it on top.
  3. Garnish with a citrus slice and serve immediately.

5. Honey Cinnamon Cortado

Balanced and intimate — equal parts espresso and silky steamed milk.

You'll need:

  • 1 double shot of Grind & Glow espresso
  • 60ml steamed whole or oat milk
  • ½ tsp raw honey
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Method:

  1. Pull your espresso into a small glass.
  2. Stir in honey while the espresso is hot.
  3. Add steamed milk — no foam, just silky microfoam.
  4. Dust with cinnamon and sip slowly.

🌿 Brewing Tips from Our Roasters

  • Grind fresh: Always grind just before brewing for peak flavor.
  • Water quality matters: Filtered water makes a noticeable difference.
  • Temperature: Aim for 90–96°C (195–205°F) — never boiling.
  • Ratios: A good starting point is 1:15 coffee to water by weight.
  • Store smart: Keep beans in an airtight container away from light and heat.
